Monetize Addon

The Monetize Addon turns your FlipBook into ad inventory. It adds six ad slot types built around the way readers move through a flipbook, so you can run AdSense, direct campaigns, or any HTML-based ad network without breaking the reading flow.

What it adds

Six configurable ad slots per FlipBook (or set globally as defaults):

• Pre-roll — Fullscreen ad shown before the FlipBook loads. Configurable skip delay, maximum duration, and a "show once per session" option.
• Banner — Fixed strip at the top or bottom of the viewer. Adjustable height, responsive, optional close button.
• Sidebar — Vertical panel on the left or right edge. Desktop-only by default with a minimum screen-width threshold. Collapsible.
• In-page overlay — Floating ad that appears on specific pages you choose. Optional backdrop and auto-close delay.
• Inter-page interstitial — Fires every N page flips. Includes skip delay, maximum duration, maximum shows, and "start after page X" controls.
• End-roll — Fullscreen ad when the reader reaches the last page. Optional close button, auto-close delay, and backdrop.

Each slot accepts arbitrary HTML, so any ad network or direct campaign works.

Installation

1. Buy the addon from tncflipbook.com and download the zip.
2. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the zip.
3. Activate Monetize Addon - TNC FlipBook 3D.
4. Activate your license from FlipBooks → License.

Requires the main TNC FlipBook 3D plugin to be installed and activated.

How to use

Open any FlipBook in the editor and find the Monetization tab in the metabox. For each slot type:

1. Toggle the slot on.
2. Paste the ad HTML (AdSense snippet, direct creative, video tag, anything).
3. Set the slot-specific options (position, frequency, page targeting, skip delay).
4. Save.

To set the same ads across every FlipBook, configure them under FlipBooks → Settings → Monetization instead — per-FlipBook settings override the global defaults.

A test mode toggle is provided so you can preview slot positioning during development without serving live ad impressions.

FAQ

Will the ads slow down the FlipBook? Ad markup loads after the FlipBook renders, so the first-paint experience is unaffected.

Can I run video ads? Yes. Paste any video ad tag (VAST/VPAID via a player snippet, direct HTML5 video, or a network-provided embed) into the slot HTML field.

Can I target only specific pages? The overlay slot supports page targeting via the Pages field. Inter-page interstitial supports "every N flips" plus a "start after page X" threshold.
