WPBakery Addon for TNC FlipBook Classic

The WPBakery Addon integrates TNC FlipBook (or the free TNC PDF Viewer) with WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer). After activation, all FlipBook elements are available directly in WPBakery's element library.

This addon is for the TNC FlipBook Classic plugin (and the free TNC PDF Viewer). If you're on TNC FlipBook 3D, use the WPBakery Addon for TNC FlipBook 3D instead.

Requirements

  • WordPress 5.6 or later.
  • WPBakery Page Builder.
  • An active TNC FlipBook Classic license, or the free TNC PDF Viewer plugin from WordPress.org.

Installation

  1. Buy the WPBakery Addon from CodeCanyon or your ThemeNcode purchase dashboard.
  2. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the zip.
  3. Activate the plugin.
  4. Make sure WPBakery Page Builder and TNC FlipBook / TNC PDF Viewer are active and up to date.

After activation, edit a page with WPBakery, click Add Element, and search PDF or TNC — the FlipBook elements appear in the list.

The six elements

PDF Viewer Embed Element

Embeds a fully interactive PDF viewer or FlipBook directly on the page. Select your PDF from the dropdown, set height and width, and customize the toolbar. Ideal for inline viewing with responsive controls.

PDF Viewer Link Element

Adds a text or button link that opens the FlipBook in a popup, new tab, or lightbox. Customize the link text, target behavior, and styling so it fits your design.

Tip: action words like "Download Now", "View Catalog", or "Read Guide" boost click-through rates.

PDF Viewer Image Element

Uses an image as the clickable trigger. Upload a thumbnail, link it to a PDF, and configure the popup or lightbox behavior. Great for visual catalog grids.

Bookshelf Element

Showcases multiple PDFs or FlipBooks as books on a bookshelf, with click-to-open popups. Customize shelf style, columns, and animations. Perfect for catalogs and libraries.

Requires: the separate Display Addon.

List/Grid Element

Presents PDFs in list or grid views, dynamically generated from your PDF categories. Filter by category, enable popups, and customize the layout for portfolios. Supports unlimited files.

Requires: the separate Display Addon.

Navigative Element

Provides advanced PDF navigation controls — zoom, page thumbnails, search, download — all configurable in WPBakery's element settings. Best for complex document interfaces with full toolbar control.

Requires: the separate Navigative Addon.

Using an element

  1. Edit a page with the WPBakery backend or frontend editor.
  2. Click Add Element.
  3. Search PDF or TNC.
  4. Add the element you need.
  5. Pick the FlipBook from the dropdown and configure options.
  6. Save.

Troubleshooting

Elements not showing in the WPBakery element list. Confirm both TNC FlipBook / TNC PDF Viewer and WPBakery are active. Clear any caching and refresh the editor.

PDF doesn't load in the element. Check WordPress upload size limits and confirm the PDF URL is accessible from the same domain.

Mobile layout issues. All elements are responsive by default. Use WPBakery's design options to override widths and spacing per breakpoint if needed.

Bookshelf or List/Grid says "Display Addon required." Those elements need the separate Display Addon. Install and activate it, then refresh the page.
